THEY GROW UP SO FAST, HOLD ONTO THE MEMORIES WITH PHOTOGRAPHS
Can you believe another school year has ended already! Where in the world does time fly! Do you feel, like me, that life moves so fast and that your children are growing up so quickly!?
SCHOOL’S OUT FOREVER!
For me this end of term has been particularly emotional as Louis, my eldest, has finished school for ever! My baby boy is now a young adult with a whole life of independent adventures ahead of him. Part of me is feeling very excited for him and I am looking forward to him flying the nest so to speak but another part wants to wind back the clock, stop time and have my little boy back in my arms but life is transient. I am so proud of him and delighted to see him leave school a happy and confident young man, who is off inter-railing this summer with friends and then hopefully off to University in September.
As a family photographer, based in London, I am so glad that over the years I have caught many fleeting transient moments as my boys have grown and grateful to have some great photos of us as a family to treasure forever. My family photographs put a smile on my face whenever I look at them and are my most precious possession. I found myself looking through old family albums this week and reminiscing over the fun times and adventures we have shared as a family and I came across these photographs of Louis on his first day of school, the day I was so nervous about him starting school that I crashed the car (fortunately only midly!). He already looks like a mad scientist with his wild blonde hair!
Louis on his first day and his last day at school!
And all dressed up for the Leaver’s Ball with friends.
