TEENAGE PORTRAITS – KENSINGTON GARDENS, LONDON
There is something magical about taking teenage portraits in the spring time when the blossom bursts into life with a dabs and splashes of pretty pink colour. A wonderful visual metaphor for a beautiful young teenage woman whose life’s journey lies ahead of her about to also burst into bloom.
Bryony is a delight to photograph, so pretty and beautiful and amusing too. The shoot began at the Studio in West London Hammersmith with Elizabeth Rita doing Bryony’s makeup and hair, we also selected various outfits for Bryony to wear during the shoot which had been very kindly lent to me for the shoot by Lisa Redman, Little Bevan and N Peal Cashmere. I love collaborating on shoots with dress designers, makeup artists, florists etc as it adds s lot of style to a shoot.
When we were ready to go we all piled into my car with outfits, fur coats to keep Bryony warm and my wonderful new off camera flash the profoto B1 light for a wonderful afternoon in Kensington Gardens.
ENJOY
