Janet travelled to London from the US and, while staying at The Rookery, chose to experience our Quintessential Woman photoshoot. What began as a search for simple tourism photography quickly became something more meaningful when Janet discovered the Quintessential Woman gallery and felt an immediate emotional connection to the work.

We began the shoot outdoors in Holland Park, capturing portraits among the greenery, before continuing across the city. Along the way, we photographed Janet moving through London: on the Tube, stopping for coffee, and taking in the everyday moments that make the city feel alive. The session finished back at The Rookery, making the most of its richly textured interiors.

The result was a relaxed, thoughtful experience and a set of images that felt personal, powerful and authentic.

After receiving her finished album, Janet shared:
