Last year I had the incredible opportunity to conduct a London Branding Photography shoot with The Song Tailors. The Song Tailors is a global brand created by Australian songwriter Ruth Picker who collaborates with artists worldwide. Ruth brought together Muireann form Ireland and Liam from Canada to record at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. And while in town, they wanted to capture some images for forthcoming releases. So a we captured bit of Instagram grid imagery, and promotional photos. Not to mention album covers…

Luckily we were blessed with a fantastic sunny day. You know, the kind that we occasionally have (just not this year?!) So being outside and taking portraits of this not only talented, but photogenic group of people, was a massive pleasure. Ruth has an established brand in Australia and wanted some images synergistic with her recording at London’s Abbey Road Studios. a venture undertaken with the extremely talented Liam Issac and Muireann. As none of the performers are London based, this photoshoot added an international aspect to their brands.

I don’t often blog about particular photoshoots, but this was a unique experience for me. And for the last year, I have been following The Song Tailors, Muireann and Liam and seeing my photos being used in their posts. It’s made me so happy to be a small part of something creative and vibrant that is happening on the other side of the world.
