Spring Family At Home and On Location Family Photoshoot

 Spring Family Photoshoot

After the freezing snowfall recently, it's amazing to think that Spring is about to, well, spring. But all the signs are there... the daffodils are out in force both in the parks, our gardens and in my Ocado shopping basket. The magnolias are starting to bud and there are fewer puffa jackets on the streets. After a particularly long, cold gruelling winter (snow in March?!) Spring will be most welcome this year. So why not celebrate its arrival with a At Home and On Location family photoshoot?

Like many people I feel energised and happy when the weather starts to warm up and the evenings grow lighter. We all feel inclined to get outside more and walk in the park. As we all come out of hibernation and start to warm up, it really shows on our faces. People smile more and look happier.. Not only are my subjects looking altogether jollier, but so is the great outdoors. Gardens and parks start coming to life and colour appears, making for beautiful backgrounds. That's why its an ideal time of year for a family photoshoot.

It's possible that you haven't taken photographs of your children since Christmas. Have they changed? Grown a bit? Lost a tooth? three months can be a long time in the life of a small child. And those small increments of time slip by unnoticed until suddenly, they are grown up. Can you ever have too many photos of your growing children? Can you ever capture enough precious moments? Obviously the answer is 'no'. So why wait? Capture these moments while outdoors enjoying the arrival of Spring in all its glory.

Family photoshoots are so much better outside...
