It was a privilege to photograph Nadège Rochat, an internationally acclaimed concert cellist often described as one of the finest musicians of her generation. Nadège wanted a collection of creative, personal branding portraits to use across her website, press features and performance publicity – images that would reflect both her artistry and her individuality.

Across two photoshoots in Holland Park, Ravenscourt Park and at our West London studio, we created a series of portraits that highlight her elegance, dedication and passion for her craft. With her exquisite cello always close at hand, each image conveys not only her technical mastery but also the depth of feeling and reverence she brings to her music.

These sessions was a wonderfully collaborative process, with Nadège embracing imaginative ideas — including a memorable series of portraits captured with her cello amongst the trees. The resulting images blend artistry with authenticity, offering a visual narrative of a musician wholly devoted to her instrument and her art.
